Camps
Gateway offers riding camp programs during school breaks (winter and spring) and summer.  The emphasis in all the programs is on safety, education and fun.  We want your children to have a wonderful experience while making new friends, four-legged as well as two.  Gateway is noted for its staff / camper ratio excellence.

2012 Dates Announced

Spring - $300 (ages 7 - 15)
(March 26th - 30th, April 6th - 13th & April 9th - 13th)

Register for summer camp by 3/1/12 and receive $25 off

Summer - $350 (Kinderide ages 5 - 8)
(June 25th - 29th or July 30th - August 3rd)

Summer - $350 (ages 7 - 15)
(June 11th - 15th, June 18th - 22nd, June 25th - 29th, July 2nd - 6th excl. 4th, July 9th - 13th, July 16th - 20th, July 23rd - 27th,
July 30th - August 3rd, August 6th - 10th, August 13th - 17th & August 20th - 24th)
Sample Camp Schedule

On Mondays, campers arrive at 8:30 a.m. for sign-in and registration                 On Tuesdays through Friday, campers are to arrive at 9 a.m. for sign-in
Dismissal is at 3 p.m. Monday through Thursday, after the horse show on Friday

On the last day of each session a small horse show takes place at 1:00 p.m. so that the children can demonstrate what they have learned.  Parents, relatives and friends are encouraged to attend.  Riders will receive a certificate of achievement and a photograph of themselves on their horse.

What Else Do I Need To Know?

  • Extended care is available for $10 / hour per child.  Extended care begins at 8 a.m. and ends at 5 p.m.
  • Per diem rates offered at $60 a day.
  • Multiple child discount of 10% on each additional child.
  • There are no make-up sessions.
  • Activities continue rain or shine.
  • We reserve the right to cancel due to excessive heat - gift certificates will be issued in lieu of refund.
  • PLEASE put your child's full name and date of session(s) on check.
  • RN on staff.
  • All campers will receive a Gateway Stables T-Shirt.
  • Gateway will provide all campers with the required ASTM standard SEI 2 helmet.

2012 Spring / Summer Camp Registration
It is recommended you include all forms with your registration.  Once your child is registered, you will receive an email confirmation from our camp registrar.  Another reminder email will be sent approximately 2 weeks before your child's start of session for any balance due and missing forms.
