Boarding

* Board is billed on a calendar-month basis and bills will be issued for each month in advance. Payment is required by the 10th of the month.

*Standard Full Indoor Board includes an assigned indoor stall, feeding, bedding, mucking, hay, water, turning out and bringing in, and blanketing as requested.

* Standard Field Board includes hay as needed, water, salt blocks, field use, and shelter.

* If you are unable to be here for your vet or blacksmith or dental appointment, let us know and someone will be available to greet them. We follow a scheduled worming program. If you choose to worm your own horse, your schedule should coincide with Gateway's deworming program at six-week intervals. Vaccinations are required in the spring and fall. Updated records should be filed with Gateway.

Admission to Gateway:

* Negative Coggins is required.
* General good health of horse is required.
* First month's board required at time horse arrives.
* New horses will be quarantined 3-5 days before mixing with general herd.
* Proofs of medical and dental records are required.
* A photograph of your horse is recommended but not required.

General Rules:

* Barn hours: Monday through Friday 7:00 a.m. - 9:00 p.m.
Saturday and Sunday 7:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Please notify us if you need to be here beyond the stated hours.

* We are aware of the limited parking and ask you to park near the upper riding area when possible, especially when you are going to be at the barn longer than two hours.

* Please Drive Slowly.

* No smoking within fifty (50) feet of the barn. If you do smoke, please take cigarette buts with you.

Riding Attire:

* An ASHA approved riding helmet MUST be worn during all riding activities.
* Long pants and boots (or shoes with some sort of heel) must be worn by anyone wishing to ride a horse.
